How do you trigger a Matmas IDoc?

Trigger MATMAS IDoc using BTE event
  1. Launch the Maintenance Transaction for BTE: FIBF.
  2. Search the BTE To use.
  3. Select BTE 00001250 for MM02 ( Material Master Data Change)
  4. Get and Copy the BTE Sample Function Module.
  5. Activate Publish and Subscribe BTE: Customer Enhancements.
  6. Application Indicator.

What are change pointers in SAP?

Change pointers are log entries to table BDCP which are written every time a transaction modifies certain fields. The change pointers are designed for ALE distribution and written by the function CHANGE_DOCUMENT_CLOSE. Change pointers are written for use with ALE. There are ABAPs like RBDMIDOC.
